Dear families,
We'll be having a Valentine's Day celebration Wednesday in which students will be sharing the personal valentines they have made as homework. If your child is stuck on alliteration or haiku ideas they can get inspired by looking online, but they need to make sure to write original mini-poems. - If they need more hearts or the instruction page they are below in last week's post. Food Students are welcome to bring low-sugar food to share with the class. Some ideas: pretzels, tortilla chips (without MSG), fruit kebabs, chocolate covered strawberries, popcorn (already popped). Many more ideas: https://www.pinterest.ca/produceforkids/healthy-valentines-day-ideas/ Valentine's Day is always a joyous day of the school year. Thanks for making sure everyone is included. A reminder that Friday is a PA day because of P-T conferences. Bon Weekend! M. Quigg
