Thank you for your help. This week's homework is to watch different YouTube videos that show examples of video styles that students can become familiar with for their Helping our Planet PSA video project. In our digital age video editing skills are becoming increasingly valuable. I've looked into a class video editor for us to use in the classroom on our Chromebooks but they were expensive, the content would be in not secure in their cloud, and they required a lot of lag time for uploading. We will be learning about video editing in class but the actual editing will be done at home. That said, this does not need to be an onerous undertaking. There are many options, from the entry level slideshow with voice over to edited mini-movie, students will gain comfort with different sample projects in class and they should be able to take the lead at home. The project is due on June 20th Students all received paper copies of the homework today but this link will be helpful for loading the videos: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1VpZb_3LB98khKSZkjWe8h8e2C9qb3z8vNtNMZH0vV1g/edit?usp=sharing Happy long weekend!
